Tissue Structure of the Skin in Micropterus salmoides
摘要
Abstract
[Objective]This study aims to elucidate the histological characteristics of the skin in Microp-terus salmoides,providing foundational data for the diagnosis and prevention of fish skin diseases.[Method]The tissue structure of skin in M.salmoides was observed by paraffin section,haematoxylin-eosin(HE),alcian blue-periodie acid schiff(AB-PAS)and masson's trichrome staining.[Result]The skin in M.salmoides is uniformly composed of the epidermis and dermis,with some areas also containing a subcutaneous tissue layer,exhibiting slight variations in the thickness of each layer in different parts.The skin around orbital and mid-ventral aera is relatively thicker,whereas the areas around mandible and posterior margin of the operculum are comparatively thinner.The epidermis predominantly contains typesⅢ and Ⅳ mucous cells,with a higher distribution in mid-ventral,and a lower distribution in occipital and orbital.Additionally,M.salmoides is covered with scales across its entire body,and scales are also visible in the skin of the caudal fin.[Conclusion]This study found that the tissue structure of skin in M.salmoides is similar to that of other fishes,with the notable finding of scales in caudal fin.关键词
