摘要

Abstract

Modern engineered bamboo and wood structures,as a natural prefabricated structural form,feature crucial connection design in their structural design.The glued-in rod(GiR)connection serves as a reliable form of connection in bamboo and wood structures,boasting advantages like a high strength-to-weight ratio and substantial stiffness.Despite the successful application of GiR connection technology in practical engineering within modern engineered bamboo and wood structures,there remains no unified technical standard for its calculation in either domestic or foreign specifications.Consequently,research in the field of GiR connections in bamboo and wood structures still encounters several challenges.This paper reviews the research findings in the field of GiR connections in modern engineered bamboo and wood structures both domestically and internationally,analyzes the influencing factors of the load-bearing capacity and failure modes of GiR connections,and summarizes the existing empirical formulas for load-bearing capacity design.Additionally,based on 493 axial pull-out test data of single GiR parallel the grain from existing literature,a calculation model for the load-bearing capacity of GiR connections is proposed,which only considers the slenderness ratio.The aim is to provide theoretical basis and guidance for the application and promotion of GiR connection technology in engineered bamboo and wood structures.
