The Adaptive Conservation and Regeneration of Historical Districts Under the Background of Sustainable Development:The Example of Marunouchi,Tokyo,Japan

Abstract
The conservation and regeneration of historical district is a thorny problem under a complex system involving many fields,and the causes of the status quo and the conservation and regeneration strategies are different.Based on the data survey and field investigation of the historical district in Marunouchi,Japan.This paper systematically combs through the evolution and development of the district and summarises the adaptive conservation and regeneration strategies of the district under the background of sustainable development from four aspects:the conservation and reuse of architectural heritage,the implantation and expansion of district functions,the continuation and coordination of historical landscape,and the stimulation and promotion of spatial vitality.On this basis,it summarises the advanced experience of Japan from the aspects of public participation,planning restrictions,administrative management and financial security,and provides reference and inspiration for the adaptive conservation and regeneration of historical districts in China.关键词
