Abstract
Michelangelo's Thick-Wall scheme for the San Giovanni dei Fiorentini has left behind a single plan manuscript.Subsequent researchers often based their interpretations on the wooden model,which was adjusted by his assistant,leading to misinterpretations.This model diminished the understanding of the original design.This paper returns to the manuscript,analyses the Thick-Wall scheme based on the authentic material,and attempts to reconstruct the church space,restoring details in the design and interpreting Michelangelo's conceptual logic,design philosophy,and deeper meanings.关键词
