Research and application of river and lake data governance technology in Zhejiang Province

Abstract
This study addressed the challenges of insufficient granularity in water body survey data in Zhejiang Province,which hampered the creation of river objects and the ability to meet the spatial governance needs of rivers and lakes.To further improve the foundational data for spatial management of water bodies,the study built on previous water body survey data and developed governance rules for river classification,basin division,and river(section)coding.Following these rules,river objects were constructed,basins were delineated,and the granularity of water body data across the province was refined.The relationships between basins,rivers,and river sections were logically linked,ensuring that the river and lake data was accurate,real-time,and interconnected.This enhanced the usability of foundational data and met the diverse needs for river and lake management and smart water governance in the new era.The approach accelerates the realization of spatial governance for rivers and lakes in Zhejiang Province.关键词
