Hydrogen production performance of decalin over Pt/NiAl layered double hydroxide-based supported catalyst

Abstract
NiAl layered double hydroxides(NiAl-LDH)were prepared by the hydrothermal method and co-precipitation method.The NiAl-LDH carrier(NiAl-LDO)were obtained through the calcination,and Pt/NiAl-LDO catalysts were prepared by using the impregnation method.The physicochemical properties of the catalysts were characterized by XRD,N2 adsorption-desorption,and TEM,and the hydrogen production performance of decalin over the catalysts was investigated.The experimental results indicate that the hydrothermal method is more suitable for forming the layered structure of NiAl-LDH,which are conducive to the dispersion of active components and the contact between reactants and catalysts.An appropriate amount of Ni on the carrier contributes to the stability of Pt particles,but excessive Pt loading results in the obvious enlargement of Pt particles.When the Ni/Al molar ratio is 4∶1,and the Pt loading is 1%(w),the catalyst exhibits the highest catalytic activity.The hydrogen production amount per gram of Pt reaches 4.47 mol under atmospheric pressure at 260℃for 20 min.关键词
