国际图书馆统计标准最新修订特色与国内采标的思考
Features of Latest Revision of International Library Statistics Standards and Reflections on Domestic Adoption of the Standards

Abstract
Library statistics are vital for improving the quality of library services and promoting the development of libraries.The International Organization for Standardization(ISO)releases the latest version of the international library statistics standard,ISO 2789:2022,in 2022.A new round of revision of China's national standards for library statistics is imminence.It is vital that this revision takes into account the need for international communication on library statistics and the need to reflect the characteristics of the development of domestic library resources and services.This study compares and contrasts the changes in the structure,design of statistical items,and terminology selection between ISO 2789:2022 and ISO 2789:2006.It clarifies the features of the international standard revision and analyses the matching degree of ISO 2789:2022 by combining it with the current statistical practice of public libraries,university libraries,and special libraries in China.It also proposes the principles of the modification and issues that should be considered in the process of adopting ISO 2789:2022.关键词
