Abstract
In order to improve intersection service level,this paper on the basis of conventional four phase signal con-trol,this article readjusts the signal phase sequence and designs a new pedestrian twice crossing mode.Com-parative models are established using VISSIM to collect data such as vehicle average travel time(VATT),ve-hicle average delay(VAD),pedestrian average travel time(PATT),pedestrian average delay(PAD),and the number of vehicles(NV)and the number of pedestrians(NP)passing through the intersection per hour to evaluate the operational efficiency of each crossing model.The results show that there is no significant differ-ence between the models in terms of VATT,VAD,NV,and NP.The intersection using the new secondary crossing mode has significantly improved operational efficiency in terms of PATT and PAD.关键词
