Abstract
To fulfill the requirements of future 6G networks and the evolution of technology,larger antenna apertures and higher frequency bands,such as millimeter wave and terahertz,will be employed,thereby making the near-field characteristics particularly prominent.Integration of emerging technologies like Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface(RIS),Extremely Large-scale Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(XL-MIMO)and mobile antennas will render near-field scenarios more prevalent in future wireless networks.Due to the alteration of the electromagnetic wave propagation characteristics in the near field region,it can no longer be considered as a plane wave but rather a spherical wave,which has a substantial impact on the design of communication system.On this basis,the architec-ture and deployment of the communication network involving the near field are investigated.In this paper,the fundamental concepts and features of Near-Field Communication(NFC)are presented,and the network architecture of NFC is analyzed and designed in ac-cordance with different signal transmission types and transmission environments,providing references for the performance analysis,re-source allocation,and network optimization of NFC systems.关键词
