Abstract
Wu Hanxian(吴汉仙)was a famous doctor in Hunan in modern times,and was a Chinese medicine activist who walked out of the study.Under the impact of the Eastward spread of Western medicine,Wu Hanxian felt the importance of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)in maintaining Chinese culture,protecting national rights and promoting the development of medical and health services,thus launched a Chinese Medicine Resistance Movement.On the basis of preserving the national quintessence,he carried out the exploration of the integration of Chinese and Western medicine,proposed the theory of"gasification could either generate or eliminate bacteria",and used this as the theoretical basis for the struggle of TCM.He launched a tit-for-tat countermeasure against the Abolishing Traditional Chinese Medicine Movement,and struggled to defend the rights of survival,education,and equality of TCM,contributing to the continuation of TCM and the development of the cause of TCM in Hunan.关键词
