Expert consensus on quality of service about prescription of purchased(dispensed)drugs in medical institutions between the appointed medical institution and retail pharmacy

摘要
Abstract
With the implementation of the dual-channel policy and the inclusion of retail pharmacies into the health care system in outpatient settings,insured patients now have broader access to medications.They are no longer limited to obtaining medications from designated medical institutions under public health care insurance.The dual-channel policy has become the new normal for drug supply management.However,there are still no uniform standards for how medical institutions and designated retail pharmacies can coordinate the management of medical insurance drugs to ensure patient medication's convenience,effectiveness,and safety.In order to improve patient convenience and safety,a multidisciplinary team from Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center and Professional Pharmacy Committee of Guangdong Pharmaceutical Association has developed concrete recommendations for the transfer services of public health care insurance.The recommendations focus on the following six core areas:organizational responsibilities,business process standards,distribution mode,quality control,patient education,and monitoring of adverse events and reactions.关键词
