Exploring Mechanism Progress of Acupuncture in Intervening Ferroptosis in Cerebral Infarction
摘要
Abstract
The domestic and international databases were searched to understand the progress of research on the mechanism of ferroptosis,also known as iron death,intervened by acupuncture in the last five years.Ferroptosis is a special cell-regulated mode of death that occurs widely throughout the body,and is different from the traditional cell death mode in that its pathology is characterized by iron overload,lipid peroxidation,and other oxidative damage.The mechanism of ferroptosis in cerebral infarction by acupuncture intervention has been verified in multiple disease models and signaling pathways.The pathogenesis of cerebral infarction is not completely clear at present,but it is closely related to ferroptosis.As a distinctive and effective intervention in Chinese medicine,acupuncture has certain advantages in regulating ferroptosis.However,some issues currently remain.It is anticipated that resolving these issues will provide new therapeutic insights for acupuncture intervention in the clinical treatment of cerebral infarction.关键词
