Abstract
A CO2 gas cooler with spiral corrugated tubes is designed,and experimental research is conducted on its heat transfer characteristics.The effects of CO2 inlet temperature,CO2 inlet pressure,CO2 mass flow rate,expansion valve opening,cooling water temperature,and cooling water flow rate on the performance of the device are investigated.The results show that with the increase of CO2 mass flow rate,the heat transfer rate per unit tube length first increase and then decrease.When the opening of expansion valve increases gradually,the total heat exchange of the system increases first and then decreases,and maximum value appears at 30%expansion valve opening.Heat transfer coefficient increase with the increase of CO2 inlet pressure.The increases with the heating efficiency of the system increase with the increase of cooling water.The maximum coefficient of performance(COP)under nominal operating conditions can reach 4.08,with a maximum COP of 4.46 in summer and a maximum COP of 3.78 in winter.Compared with traditional sleeve-type water heaters and CO2 heat pump water heaters,the maximum COP is increased by 27.5%,23.9%,and 14.5%,respectively.Therefore,the performance of heat pump can be improved obviously by using spiral corrugated tubes gas cooler.关键词
