Abstract
Objective To explore the intervention effect of hierarchy of needs theory-based nursing combined with hot compress of Wuzi powder on the patients with limb fractures.Methods Eighty patients with limb fractures admitted to Wuxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between August 2021 and August 2022 were selected as the research subjects and divided into two groups using the random number table method.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group patients received hot compress of Wuzi powder combined with hierarchy of needs theory-based nursing.The intervention effects of the two groups were compared.Results The postoperative drainage fluid volume in the observation group was less than that in the control group.The drainage tube removal time and muscle strength recovery time were earlier than those in the control group.The Visual Analogue Scale score at 24 h postoperatively was lower than that in the control group(all P<0.05).After 2 weeks of nursing,the negative emotion scores and traumatic stress indicators of the observation group were better than those of the control group(all P<0.05).The observation group showed better disappearance time of limb swelling,hospitalization time,and fracture healing time compared with the control group(all P<0.05).The total incidence of complications was lower in the observation group than in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of hot compress of Wuzi powder combined with hierarchy of needs theory-based nursing in patients with limb fractures can accelerate the postoperative recovery,improve the psychological state,alleviate the pain and stress reactions,accelerate the symptom improvement,and reduce the occurrence of complications.关键词
