Spatial Characteristics and Influence Factors of High-level Talent Mobility Between Provinces in China
摘要
Abstract
The flow of high-level talents is one of the important factors that promote economic growth,urbanization and Chinese path to modern-ization.However,most of the current studies have not taken spatial heterogeneity and multi-scale effects into account.Therefore,based on the high-level talent migration data from the seventh national population census,we used multi-scale geographical weighted gravity regression model to characterize the spatial distribution pattern of high-level talent among provinces in China,and analyzed the spatial heterogeneity and scale ef-fects of its influence factors.The results show that overall the geographical pattern of high-level talent migration is in a northwest-southeast direc-tion,with high in the south and low in the north,with significant differences.②Gravitational variables,the economic development level,the sci-entific and technological education development level,the urban and rural development level,and the social security variables level together af-fect the migration of high-level talents between provinces in China.③There is spatial heterogeneity in the factors influencing inter-provincial mi-gration of high-level talents in China.The 11 selected significant influences depend on location and exhibit specific patterns,including east-west,south-north and northeast-southwest patterns,as well as discrete cluster and radial patterns.④There are different scale effects of the factors af-fecting inter-provincial migration of high-level talents,and the bandwidth of move-in variable and spatial distance between provinces is generally high,indicating weak spatial heterogeneity produced on migration of high-level talents.Finally,we proposed corresponding research conclusions and policy recommendations,in order to provide reference for regional talent governance and achieving balanced regional development.关键词
