Abstract

Unmanned aerial vehicles(UAV)currently stand as a pivotal means for the acquisition of surveying and mapping information.Howev-er,scant attention has been devoted in contemporary research to the route planning for conventional UAV-based remote sensing cartography.Addressing this problem,we proposed an intelligent route planning algorithm based on terrain morphology.The algorithm advanced herein con-templates the holistic impact of both topography and features on route planning.It introduces refinements to existing routes by judiciously incor-porating or modifying them,thereby aligning more closely with the exigencies of practical operational scenarios.This augmentation,in turn,diminishes the need for subsequent re-surveys,thereby substantially augmenting the efficiency of data acquisition operations.Experimental re-sults derived from multiple sets of empirical data prove that the algorithm proposed in this paper exhibits heightened precision in contrast to traditional route planning methodologies.The resultant path planning manifests greater intricacy,and the navigational strategy adopted is notably more judicious,thereby markedly amplifying the efficacy of data acquisition endeavors.
