摘要

Abstract

The the dual bachelor's degree program of"Environmental Engineering-Mathematics and Applied Mathematics"aims to cultivate multi-skilled talents with the ability to integrate science and engineering,capable of solving complex environmental problems and mastering modern mathematical statistics and big data processing capabilities.The program is based on the advantages of Tongji University's top-notch disciplines of Environmental Engineering(A+discipline)and Mathematics and Applied Mathematics(National Characteristic Discipline),exploring a new mode of cultivating interdisciplinary compound talents.The program has established an integrated curriculum system co-taught by faculty from the two disciplines,incorporating mathematical knowledge into the field of environmental engineering.Graduates need to complete the prescribed requirements for dual degree cultivation and achieve the goal of cultivating compound talents with the integration of science and engineering,problem-oriented,and strengthened mathematical foundation.This dual bachelor's degree program is a proactive attempt to promote the cross-integration of environmental engineering with mathematics,chemistry,materials science,life sciences,and other disciplines,to cultivate multi-skilled"Environment+"talents.
