Abstract
Objective:Driven by shared decision-making between doctors and patients,patient decision aids have gained significant attention.This study aims to explore the research hotspots and trends of patient field both domestically and internationally,providing references for future related research.
Methods:Literature related to pediatric patient decision aids published from January 2012 to December 2023 was retrieved from databases including CNKI,WanFang,VIP,Web of Science Core Collection,and PubMed.Bibliometric analysis was conducted using CiteSpace software.
Results:A total of 383 English literatures and 17 Chinese literatures were included.The English database identified 10 clusters and 5 emerging keywords.The Chinese database identified 5 clusters and 1 emerging keyword.Research hotspots include"exploring the application in different decision-making scenarios""improving decision support tools based on decision information needs""improving decision-making experience and doctor-patient relationships"and"increasing adolescent participation in decision-making".Research trends involve exploring the decision-making participation period for children and adolescents,and the expansion of the application of patient decision aids in the field of mental health.
Conclusion:The number of publications in this field is still insufficient.Domestic scholars need to continuously enhance the importance of pediatric decision support,address the research hotspots and trends,fill gaps in domestic research,and promote the in-depth development of research in this field in China.关键词
