Abstract

In order to further explore the promoting effect of plant auxin IAA on the germination process of Codonopsis pilosula seeds,Codonopsis pilosula seeds were used as experimental objects in this study.The seeds of Codonopsis pilosula were soaked for 12 hours by preparing different concen-trations of IAA solution(including 0 mg/L,5 mg/L,10 mg/L,15 mg/L and 20 mg/L).The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of different concentrations of IAA solution soaking on the germination process,germination potential,germination rate and other key indicators of Codo-nopsis pilosula seeds,and to explore the best treatment concentration to promote the germination of Codonopsis pilosula seeds.The results showed that the germination of Codonopsis pilosula seeds was the best after soaking the Codonopsis pilosula seeds in 20 mg/L IAA solution for 12 hours,the ger-mination potential was 76.50%,and the germination rate was 78.00%.This treatment can signifi-cantly improve the germination potential and germination rate of Codonopsis pilosula seeds.
