Abstract

To reduce malachite green in water effectively,covalent organic framework material(COF-Tp)was prepared by 2,4,6-Triformylphloroglucinol and 2,5-Diamino-1,4-benzenedithiol Dihydrochloride,and malachite green(MG)was adsorbed in wastewater.The effect of COF-Tp on the adsorption of malachite green under different conditions and the reaction mechanism were investigated.The results showed that the maximum adsorption capacity of COF-Tp for MG dye could reach 1 866.8 mg/g at 25℃,and the adsorption equilibrium time was 50 min,which was not easily affected by temperature.The adsorption effect of MG was more significant under acidic conditions.Through analysis,it could be seen that the adsorption process fit the Langmuir model and the second-order kinetic model,indicating that the reaction process was a spontaneous monolayer adsorption.After 5 cycles of COF-Tp,the removal rate of MG could still reach about 80%.Therefore,the removal of MG from water by COF-Tp has certain practical application value.
