摘要

Abstract

This paper investigates the impact of the Maerdang Hydropower Station on hoofed animals in the upper reaches of the Yellow River.Field surveys,infrared camera monitoring,spatial analysis and model prediction were used to assess the changes in the population size,distribution and behavioural ecology of hoofed animals before and after the construction of the hydropower station.It was found that horse musk and rock sheep were the dominant species before water storage,and the suitable habitat was reduced after water storage,and the key influencing factors included average annual temperature and land use classification.The construction of hydropower stations led to habitat fragmentation,which needs to be mitigated by constructing ecological corridors.
