The technology of underwater unmanned communication payloads is a core component in modern underwater opera-tions and civilian ocean exploration,significantly impacting the operational efficiency and mission execution capabilities of un-manned underwater vehicles(UUVs).This paper reviews the current status,key technologies,and future development trends of communication payloads,focusing on the technical characteristics and application scenarios of acoustic communication,optical communication,blue-green laser communication,radio communication,and magnetic induction communication.By examining typ-ical applications,this paper summarizes the practical value of communication payloads in military and civilian domains and fore-casts their potential future developments in intelligentization,modularization,and diversification.This work aims to provide theoret-ical and technical insights to advance underwater communication technologies and promote the broader application of UUVs.
