较宽压强响应范围和较高灵敏度的聚丙烯基电容式压力传感器的研制
Preparation of Polypropylene-based Capacitive Pressure Sensor with Wide Pressure Response Range and High Sensitivity

Abstract
Ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber(EPDM)is adopted to modify PP,and the prepared blends are foamed with supercritical carbon dioxide(Sc-CO2).By using the blends and the foamed sample as dielectric layers,different PP-based capacitive pressure sensors are assembled.The microstructure and mechanical properties of the blends and their foamed samples are characterized.Based on this,the influence of the EPDM and foaming on the deformation ability of the PP-base dielectric layers,and thus on sensitivity(S)and pressure response range of the corresponding sensor are studied.The results show that the addition of EPDM and its increase significantly enhance the deformation ability of the PP-based dielectric layer:the stress value at yield point and the modulus in large deformation interval are significantly reduced.The Sc-CO2 foaming further enhances the deformation ability of the PP-based dielectric layer:its modulus in the lower stress range significantly reduces,and the yield point disappears.As a result,the capacitive pressure sensor with the foam sample as the dielectric layer shows better pressure response performance:the pressure response range and Sare widened and increased from 25~40 MPa and 0.027 1 MPa-1 of the sensor with PP to 0~40 MPa and 0.120 7 MPa-1 of the sensor with foamed blend sample with 30%(weight)EPDM,respectively.The application test results show that the prepared PP-based sensor can be well applied in human motion detection such as facial muscle motion and wrist bending.关键词
