Abstract

In order to improve the overall anti-overturning performance of the bridge,this paper takes the single pier bridge project as an ex-ample,analyzes the stability coefficient of the bridge under different conditions,puts forward the reinforcement scheme,and checks the anti-overturning performance of the reinforced single pier bridge.The results show that the anti-overturning stability coefficients of single-pier Bridges under the three actual load conditions are 0.86,0.65 and 0.25,respectively,which are all lower than the anti-overturning stability conditions and do not meet the requirements of JTG D60-2015 General Code for the Design of Highway Bridges and Culverts,and it is neces-sary to strengthen single-pier Bridges.After the scheme comparison selection,it is determined that the final reinforcement design of the single-column pier bridge is to add steel cover beam and support on the top of some piers,and steel sleeve on the pier body.After the reinforcement construction,the anti-overturning stability coefficient of the bridge project is at least 6.2 and at most 13.2,which is far higher than the re-quired value of the design code,indicating that the adopted reinforcement scheme is safe and reliable.
