Abstract
Traditional arcade-style commercial spaces not only serve commercial functions but also possess multiple values in terms of society,economy,and culture.In recent years,indoor shops in Xiamen's arcade buildings have been facing issues such as poor indoor thermal environment and high energy consumption of cooling air conditioning.To investigate and analyze the current thermal environment and human thermal comfort in these shops during the summer,field measurements and questionnaire surveys were conducted in 12 shops and their outdoor spaces on two typical arcade commercial streets in Zhongshan Road Area.The research results indicate that the air temperature and relative humidity in the indoor shops of arcade buildings are relatively high during the summer.The indoor air temperature of shops on the north and south sides is higher than that of the east and west sides,with smaller temperature fluctuations.Appropriate wind speed can effectively alleviate the sensation of stuffiness.The thermal neutral temperatures for shops on the north,south,west,and east sides are 27.8℃,25.6℃,24.9℃,and 25.4℃,respectively.The acceptable temperature ranges with an 80%acceptance rate for shops on the north,south,west,and east sides are 25.3～30.3℃,21.7～29.5℃,21.6～28.2℃,and 21.9～28.9℃,respectively.关键词
