Research on the Characteristics and Protection Development of Traditional Rock Villages in the Karst Region of Eastern Yunnan:Taking Baigu Village in Luoping County as an Example

Abstract
Karst is a representative landform in the eastern Yunnan Region,with continuous and undulating peaks and rich earth landscapes.Baigu Village,located in Luoping County,eastern Yunnan,has formed a unique rock landscape under the nurturing of Karst environment.Traditional residential buildings built on rocks are scattered throughout the village,and its tailored and locally sourced village layout and architectural form complement the Karst environment.The study analyzes the unique features of Baigu Village from three perspectives:village site selection and layout,traditional residential architecture,and stone art creation.By identifying the village style in the Karst environment and showcasing its characteristics,and re-examining the value and connotation of Baigu Village in history and culture,architectural creation,economy,and tourism,suggestions for style protection and development are proposed to provide reference for the protection and development of local traditional villages.关键词
