Exploration and Analysis of the Historical Culture of Zhenyuan Bridge in Ming Dynasty Taiyuan City,and Its Preservation and Utilization
摘要
Abstract
Zhenyuan Bridge is an important facility in the defensive system of Ming Taiyuan Prefecture and also a paradigm of single-arch bridges in the Ming Dynasty's administrative cities in the Taiyuan Area.With intact and clear wheel tracks and swan-wing shaped revetment extending on both sides of the bridge,it serves as a window and microcosm witnessing the political evolution,urban planning,and social life of Taiyuan over the past six hundred years.It is an important physical relic for studying the urban construction history,military history,transportation history,and social history of Taiyuan,and represents the high concentration of bridge artistry and scientific design.Properly conserving and utilizing it plays a vital role in enhancing the awareness of cultural relic protection across the region and promoting a shift in conservation attitudes.关键词
