Abstract
2024 is the tenth anniversary of the Beijing Hangzhou Grand Canal being included in the The World Heritage List.As a precious cultural heritage,new progress has also been made in heritage protection,inheritance and utilization.As an important historical ancient city on the Grand Canal Cultural Belt,Suzhou's research on the living environment along the Grand Canal is of great significance for the inheritance and utilization of the Grand Canal culture.This paper provides an overview of the urban living environment in the Suzhou Section of the Grand Canal Cultural Belt.It summarizes the wisdom of building the ancient urban living environment in the Grand Canal Cultural Belt from six aspects:regional view,ecological view,cultural view,spatial view,life view,and quality view.With the core concept of inheritance and protection,it proposes a"six in one"strategy for improving the living environment,which includes ecological priority,water and landscape maintenance,landscape architecture,spatial guidance,characteristic creation,and cultural integration.关键词
