Evolution and Challenges of Chinese Architectural Education and Research in the Context of Rural Revitalization

Abstract
Contemporary Chinese architectural education and research are always in dilemma,while rural construction is a kind of turning and reconstruction.With the rapid urbanization process,one important driving forces for the development of Chinese architecture comes from the vigorous rural construction since"Thousand Villages Demonstration and Ten Thousound Villages Renovation"project in 2003.Rural revitalization is one of the features and paths of Chinese modernization,in which Chinese architectural education and research of have undergone a deep transformation.Architecture has demonstrated new positive changes in several aspects of its disciplinary connotations,disciplinary positioning,and its own attributes,and has been facilitated by new developmental dynamics,human-land relations,and developmental goals,which have contributed to the occurrence of such changes.To a certain extent,these changes promoted the real realization of Integrated Architecture,and also made architectural education and practice return to the local area,and actively involved in social life with people as the center.关键词
