Abstract
Objective To investigate the application effect of using supramalleolar tourniquet in surgeries for calcane-al fractures.Methods The 66 patients with calcaneal fractures were randomly divided into two groups according to the random number table method.One group used the thigh root tourniquet during operation(high location group,33 cases),and the other group used the supramalleolar tourniquet during operation(low location group,33 cases).The intraoperative blood loss volume,the levels of tumor necrosis factor α(TNF-α),interleukin-6(IL-6),and C-reactive protein(CRP),and pain VAS,fracture healing time,ankle activity and postoperative complications of the two groups were recorded.Results The patients were all followed up for 3～6 months.The difference in intraoperative bleeding volume had no significance between the two groups(P>0.05);the postoperative drainage volume was more in the high location group than that in the low location group(P<0.05).Levels of TNF-α,IL-6,and CRP:There were statis-tical differences between the postoperative 3 d and the preopeation(P>0.05);and at 3 d postoperation,the high loca-tion group was higher than the low location group(P<0.05).At postoperative 1,3,5 d,pain VAS of the high location group was all higher than the low location group(P<0.05).The fracture healing time,ankle activity of postoperative 3 months,complication rate had no statistical differences between two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions The use of supramalleolar tourniquet during calcaneal fracture surgery can reduce the postoperative blood loss volume of the pa-tient,relieve the pain and inflammatory reaction of the patient,with fewer postoperative complications.关键词
