International Scientific Research Cooperation Model and Its Achievement Influence of"Double First-Class"Construction Universities

Abstract
In order to explore the international scientific research cooperation models of 42 top universities in the first round of"double first-class"construction in China and enhance the influence of international scientific research cooperation achievements of universities,this paper retrieves the data of international cooperation papers in the InCites database from 2016 to 2023,and proposes an analytical framework including the scale coefficient,intensity coefficient,dominance coefficient,national breadth coefficient,and discipline breadth coefficient of international scientific research cooperation.The hierarchical clustering method is used to obtain the international scientific research cooperation models of four types of universities,including leading,balanced,focused,and potential,and the influence indicators are used to compare the differences in the influence of international cooperation papers under different cooperation models.The research finds that China's"double first-class"construction universities show different modes of international scientific research cooperation due to the different bases and stages of international cooperation,and they all exceed the global average in various influence indicators.Finally,some suggestions are put forward,such as expanding the objects and fields of high-quality scientific research cooperation,taking the lead in organizing international major scientific programs and projects,optimizing the allocation of international scientific research cooperation resources,and promoting the internationalization of talent teams,so as to provide support for Chinese universities to enhance the influence of international research cooperation.关键词
