Abstract

Using the policy analysis method and case study method,the article summarises the experiences of developed countries in carrying out science education for young people,summarises the practical cases of exploring science education for young people in China,and analyses the difficulties and shortcomings faced by the current development of science education for young people on this basis.The study finds that there is a lack of overall design of science education for youth in China,the social linkage mechanism is not sound enough,the scale and level of teachers need to be upgraded,and there is a lack of interactive evaluation of the process.Finally,the study puts forward suggestions for improving the mechanism of youth science education from four aspects:adhering to value leadership,attaching importance to organisational synergy,enriching the supply of resources,and strengthening the evaluation of effects.
