Abstract

In view of the characteristics of high toxicity,high phenol content and high CODCr in low-rank coal(coke)pyrolysis wastewater,on the basis of the existing pretreatment process,the process design of an industrial demonstration plant was carried out according to the characteristics of wastewater quality of a coke plant in northern Shaanxi.Through engineering examples,the process design parameters,operation stability,effluent water quality and energy consumption analysis of low-rank coal pyrolysis and high-pollution phenolic ammonia wastewater pretreatment device were investigated.The results show that the design capacity of the demonstration device is 10 m3/h,the design operation flexibility is 60%-110%,and when the experimental assessment processing capacity is 8 m3/h,it can run continuously and stably.The ammonia nitrogen mass concentration in the effluent of the device≤300 mg/L and CODCr<5 g/L,which can meet the water quality requirements of the biochemical system,and can be directly reused as process water for coke quenching.The self-produced surplus steam in the plant is used,and the vacuum distillation operation in the solvent recovery tower reduces steam consumption,the final comprehensive treatment cost per ton of water is 44 Yuan,which meets the index requirements of the operating cost of the pretreatment system in the design documents,and provides a design and engineering basis for the follow-up treatment of coke wastewater.
