数字经济对医疗服务出口贸易的影响研究
Research on the Impact of Digital Economy on the Export Trade of Medical Services
摘要
Abstract
Along with the population aging as well as the rising of public health emergency of international concern,the demand on high quality medical services has increased globally.Meanwhile,digital economy has facilitated the development of cross-border medical services.Based on the panel data of 39 countries during the period of 2010-2021,this paper employs a fixed-effect model to analyze the impact of digital economy on the export trade of medical services.It is found that the improvement of digital economy development significantly contributes to the growth of healthcare service export trade in the countries observed,but the impact of the digital economy on healthcare service exports exhibits significant heterogeneity under different service delivery modes.The findings remain after introducing the tests on endogeneity and robustness.Mechanism tests show that digital economy affects the development of healthcare service export trade through innovation capacity and transaction costs.The study enriches the research on the influencing factors of medical service trade from the perspective of globalization,and provides an important reference for countries to promote the export trade of medical service.关键词
