Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effects of levothyroxine(LT4)on pregnancy outcomes and offspring intelligence in pregnant patients with hypothyroidism.Methods:A total of 80 pregnant patients with hypothyroidism treated in Jinan Third People's Hospital from June 2022 to October 2023 were selected as the study objects and were randomly divided into a study group and a control group,with 40 cases in each group.The study group received LT4 treatment,while the control group received no specific treatment.The pregnancy outcome and offspring intellectual development of the two groups were compared,and the LT4 treatment effect of the study group was evaluated.Results:The incidence of pregnancy-induced hypertension,abortion,premature delivery and low birth weight infants in the study group were 5.00%,2.50%,7.50%and 2.50%,respectively,which were lower than 20.00%,15.00%,25.00%and 15.00%in the control group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the neonatal neurobehavioral score,intelligence test score and language and motor ability assessment score of the study group were higher than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After intervention,the level of serum thyrotropin in the study group was lower than before intervention,and the level of free thyroxine was higher than before intervention,the differences between the groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:Early diagnosis and treatment of pregnant patients with hypothyroidism are very important,LT4 treatment can improve the pregnancy outcome and offspring intellectual development.关键词
