Abstract
Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of the 5th intercostal minimally invasive closed thoracic drainage in the treatment of elderly patients with lung cancer complicated with pleural effusion.Methods:A total of 86 elderly patients with lung cancer combined with pleural effusion admitted to Songyuan Central Hospital from January 2023 to March 2024 were selected as the study objects.They were divided into a control group and a study group by coin toss method,with 43 cases in each group.The control group was treated with conventional pleural puncture,and the study group was treated with the 5th intercostal minimally invasive closed thoracic drainage.The treatment effect,dinical indet,pain degree and occurrence of complication were compared between the two groups.After treatment,the drainage time,the disappearance time of pleural effusion and the hospitalization time of the study group were shorter than those of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).At 12、24 h after surgery,the pain Visual Analogue Scale scores of the study group were lower than those of the control group,and the score of the study group at 24 h after surgery was lower than that at 12 h after surgery,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The complication rate of the study group was 9.30%,which was lower than 25.58%of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Results:The total effective rate of the study group was 93.02%,which was higher than 76.74%of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:In elderly patients with lung cancer complicated with pleural effusion,the effect of the 5th intercostal minimally invasive closed thoracic drainage is significant,the recovery time is shortened,the postoperative pain is significantly reduced,and the safety is high,which has certain clinical application value.关键词
