Effects of Guimin elephant grass and cassava alcohol dregs micro-stored feed on growth performance,serum biochemical,digestibility,and economic benefits of black goats

Abstract
The experiment aimed to investigate the effects of Guimin elephant grass and cassava alcohol dregs micro-stored feed on the growth performance,serum biochemical indicators,nutrients apparent digestibility,and economic benefits of black goats.A total of 24 aged five months with an average body weight of(29.79±2.08)kg black goats were randomly divided into three groups,with eight replicates per group and one goat per replicate.The control group was fed a basal diet,while the experimental groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ were supplemented with 50％and 100％of the Guimin elephant grass and cassava alcohol dregs micro-stored feed,respectively,replacing whole corn silage in the basal diet.The pre-test period was 15 days and the formal test period was 50 days.The results showed that the total weight gain,average daily weight gain,and dry matter intake of group Ⅱ were significantly higher than those of the control group(P＜0.05).The feed conversion ratio of groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ was significantly lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05),and both weight gain and wool profit were higher than those of the control group.The total bilirubin of group Ⅱ was significantly lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05),and the apparent digestibility of dry matter was significantly higher than that of groupⅠ(P＜0.05),the apparent digestibility of crude fat and acid detergent fiber of groups Ⅰ and Ⅱ were significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05),the apparent digestibility of starch of group Ⅰ was significantly higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).The study indicates that the addition of Guimin elephant grass and cassava alcohol dregs micro-stored feed can improve the growth performance,economic benefits,and nutrient apparent digestibility of in black goats,without adverse effects on serum biochemical and blood routine indicators,and 100％replacement of whole corn silage had the best benefits.关键词
