Effects of Bacillus subtilis on cadmium exposure accumulation,liver oxidative stress,and intestinal microbiota in Rana dybowskii

Abstract
The experiment aimed to explore the effects of Bacillus subtilis on cadmium the exposure accumulation,liver oxidative stress,and intestinal microbiota in Rana dybowskii.A total of 72 healthy Rana dybowskii were randomly divided into four groups,with three replicates in each group and six Rana dybowskii in each replicate.The control group(NC group)and cadmium exposure group(Cd group)were fed with basal feed,while the Bacillus subtilis group(BL group)and Bacillus subtilis intervention treatment group(BLCd group)were fed with basal feed supplemented with Bacillus subtilis.The experimental period was four weeks.The results showed that compared with the Cd group,the cadmium accumulation in various tissues of Rana dybowskii in the BLCd group was significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the zinc content in the liver and intestine of the BLCd group was significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with the NC group,the malondialdehyde(MDA)content in the liver of Rana dybowskii in the BL group was significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the activities of superoxide dismutase(SOD)and catalase(CAT)were significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with the Cd group,the MDA content in the liver of Rana dybowskii in the BLCd group was significantly reduced(P<0.05),and the activities of SOD,CAT and glutathione peroxidase(GSH-Px)were significantly increased(P<0.05).Compared with the Cd group,the relative expression levels of divalent metal transporter 1(DMT1),metallothionein(MT)and zinc transporter 2(ZnT-2)in the intestine of Rana dybowskii in the BLCd group were significantly reduced(P<0.05).Compared with the Cd group,the intestinal microbiota richness of Rana dybowskii in the BLCd group was higher,and the richness of some microbial genera was correlated with antioxidant indicators.The study indicated that the use of Bacillus subtilis had a positive effect on cadmium exposure Rana dybowskii.关键词
