摘要

Abstract

The aim of this experiment was to compare the ingestion and accumulation function of Arecae Semen Viride(ASV)and Arecae Semen(AS).Functional dyspepsia(FD)rats model were induced by multi-factor stress intervention.After successful modeling,FD rats were administered continuously for seven days.The effects of ASV and AS on the condition of FD rats,gastric emptying rate,small intestine propulsion rate,digestive enzyme activity,serum and duodenal motilin(MTL),as well as the content of 5-hydroxytryptamine(5-HT)in the gastric antrum tissue and hypothalamus were observed,the pathological morphology of the gastric antrum and duodenal tissues in the rats was observed,and the number of 5-HT positive cells in the gastric antrum tissue and duodenum was detected.The results showed that both ASV and AS significantly improved the status of FD rats,extremely increased gastric emptying rate and small intestine propulsion rate(P<0.01),extremely enhanced digestive enzyme activity(P<0.01),extremely increased the levels of serum and duodenal MTL,gastric antral tissue,and hypothalamic 5-HT content(P<0.01),and extremely increased the number of 5-HT positive cells in the gastric antral tissue and duodenum(P<0.01).Compared with the AS group,the ASV group had a extremely higher level of serum MTL(P<0.01),and a significantly increased number of duodenal 5-HT positive cells(P<0.05).The study indicates that both ASV and AS possess digestion and ingestion and accumulation function,and their effects are similar.
