摘要

Abstract

The digital transformation of education is a key force driving global educational change and improving competitive-ness.As an essential part of economic and social development,vocational education is actively adapting to new demands.To accu-rately assess the level and capability of digital transformation in vocational institutions,this study proposed a practical solution based on the maturity model.First,the study examined digital transformation from three perspectives:individual institutions,benchmarking among institutions,and overall vocational education planning.It analyzed the key components of maturity models and identifies com-mon features of digital transformation in education.Second,considering the specific conditions of digital development in China's vo-cational education sector,the study developed a maturity model for digital transformation capability in vocational education,which in-cludes five maturity levels,four capability elements,nine capability domains,and twenty-five sub-domains.Finally,the study ex-plained the evaluation method and implementation process in detail.This model helps vocational institutions assess their digital trans-formation capability,identify challenges,and take targeted actions to improve digitalization.By doing so,they can better meet the re-quirements of high-quality development in modern vocational education.
