Wind Farm Energy Efficiency Improvement and Wind Turbine Load Suppression Control Independent of Wake Model

Abstract
A coordinated optimization scheme independent of the wake model is proposed to address the issues of wake and fatigue load in large-scale wind power utilization.Through the analysis of wind farm energy efficiency and wind turbine fatigue characteristics,the optimization objectives of wind farm energy efficiency improvement and wind turbine load suppression are constructed by using active power,key structural torque,and thrust coefficient.A linear wind turbine controller is designed based on the small signal method and multi-objective model predictive control,and the optimal control of the wind turbine is realized by using the two-degree-of-freedom control framework based on generator torque and pitch angle.The proposed scheme is based on optimizing and adjusting the operating state of the wind turbine itself,without iterative optimization using the preset wake model within the scope of the wind farm.The simulation results show that the proposed scheme has good robustness under the premise of inaccurate wind speed measurement,and it can improve the energy efficiency of wind farms and suppress unit loads in the range of medium and low wind speeds.关键词
