Impact of Digital Credit on Farmers'Entrepreneurship

Abstract
The advent of digital era is driving the credit sector towards a new phase of development.The emergence of digital credit plays a great role in promoting entrepreneurship among farmers.This paper started from a micro perspective to study the impact of digital credit on farmers'entrepreneurship,and analyzed the underlying mechanism using the mediation effect model to investigate whether digital credit can promote farmers'entrepreneurship by alleviating credit constraints.The research found that credit constraints prevent farmers from making entrepreneurial choices,while the emergence of digital credit increases farmers'access to entrepreneurial capital,effectively alleviates credit constraints,reduces information asymmetry,and has a positive effect on farmers'entrepreneurial choices.Further research showed that the mediating role of credit constraints and the impact of digital credit on entrepreneurship have more obvious differences in different types of entrepreneurship.Digital credit can better alleviate the credit constraints of returning farmers and thus facilitate their entrepreneurial choices.Based on this,the study suggested that the government should increase support for financial technology and actively promote the construction of an integrated credit financing service platform,while guiding the sinking of the service center of gravity of large banks and promoting small and medium-sized banks to focus on their main responsibilities and main business;banks and other financial institutions should do a good job in promoting their products,reducing information asymmetry and information lag problems,further easing credit constraints on farmers,promoting entrepreneurship in farming,and promoting rural revitalization.关键词
