Abstract

The common methods for measuring material levels include laser ranging,radar scanning,weighing measurement,etc.Due to the frequent blasting,large vibration,and high dust in mines,optical mechanics principle measuring equipment is difficult to ensure the stability and accuracy of measurement in mining production applications,resulting in the traditional manual plumb line method still being used for open-pit mine slide measurement.The deep location of the open-pit mine chute and the large amount of dust generated during the unloading process pose significant risks to the safety and occupational health of the measuring personnel.In order to address the shortcomings of current chute measurement,considering the frequent blasting and high dust discharge at the wellhead of open-pit mines,and drawing on the advantages of existing level monitoring systems,a set of open-pit mine chute level monitoring system is de-signed by measuring and calculating key factors such as the amount of ore entering the chute,the size of the chute,and the amount of ore exiting the chute,and integrating them on the upper computer to achieve real-time monitoring of the chute level in open-pit mines.After testing and analysis on the mining site,the results show that the system can adapt to the production conditions of the mine,and the level monitoring results are accurate and reliable.
