植物环状RNA的生物学功能及其研究进展
Biological functions of plant circular RNA and its research progress
摘要
Abstract
In order to gain an insight understanding of the biological functions of plant circular RNA(circRNA)in plant growth and development process and stress response,literature searching was conducted based in CNKI,Web of Science,and SPIS Academic Resources Online by taking"circular RNA","biological function","biological function",and"stress response"as keywords.A total of 92 relevant publications were retrieved.The classification and formation mechanisms of plant circRNA,the identification tools,and their biological functions were summarized.The results show that plant circRNA can be classified into exonic circRNA,intronic circRNA,and exon-intron circRNA.The formation mechanisms of circRNA include four main types:Lariat-driven circularization,exon-flanking intron reverse complementary pairing-driven circularization,RNA-binding protein-mediated exon circularization,and intron circularization driven by reverse splicing at the 5'and 3'ends.circRNA are found to play multiple biological functions,including acting as miRNA sponges to regulate miRNA expression;participating in the regulation of plant growth and development,and responses to abiotic and biotic stress,and involving in protein translation and in pathways related to protein-protein interactions.关键词
