Progress in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Appendicitis at Home and Abroad
摘要
Abstract
Acute appendicitis(AA)is a common surgical emergency with rapid onset and high risk of misdiagnosis.Diagnosis relies on clinical symptoms,inflammatory markers,and imaging,often with a focus on imaging studies.Laparoscopic appendectomy(LA)is the preferred treatment,however,with the continuous development of endoscopic technology,endoscopic retrograde appendicitis therapy(ERAT),as an innovative technique,can effectively relieve acute uncomplicated appendicitis by flushing,draining,and dilating the appendiceal cavity under endoscopy while preserving the function of the appendix.This technique has the advantages of minimal invasiveness,rapid recovery,and a low recurrence rate,attracting the attention of many scholars.At present,this technique has been widely applied both at home and abroad.关键词
