摘要
Abstract
[Objective]To investigate the therapeutic effect of modified Smith-Peterson and Moore approaches for artificial femoral head replacement in the treatment of elderly femoral neck fractures.[Methods]This clinical study adopted a prospective, randomized controlled design. The research period is from January 2020 to December 2022.The enrolled population is elderly patients with femoral neck fractures who hav undergone artificial femoral head replacement in Xinyang People's Hospital.According to the admission time of the patients, they were randomly divided into two groups. One group of patients who underwent the Moore approach(n=51)was called the Moore group, and the other group of patients who underwent the modified Smith-Peterson approach(n=52)was called the Smith-Peterson group. The patient's surgical condition, pain level, quality of life,Harris score, incidence of postoperative complications, and hip joint prosthesis acetabular abduction angle and anteversion angle were evaluated.[Results]The Smith-Peterson group patients had a wound length of 10.01±1.01 cm,a surgical time of 61.22±11.38 min,a bleeding volume of 77.28±21.35 mL,a postoperative bed rest time of 1.25±0.42 d,and a hospital stay time of 9.01±1.76 d;the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the Visual Analogue Scale(VAS)score, quality of life, and Harris score of Smith-Peterson group patients were 2.87±0.41 points,83.19±7.97 points, and 86.34±9.12 points, respectively;the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the hip abduction angle, anterior inclination angle, and postoperative complications between the two groups(P>0.05).[Conclusion]The application of modified Smith-Peterson approach can alleviate postoperative pain in patients with femoral neck fractures, promote the recovery of knee joint function, improve patients'quality of life, reduce hospitalization time, with significant clinical application value.关键词
