Abstract
Objective To investigate the effectiveness of intelligent sorting system in Pharmacy Intravenous Admixture Service(PIVAS).Methods The PIVAS work efficiency,incidence of work errors and sorting workflow in a hospital before(April 1,2022 to June 30,2022)and after(August 1,2022 to October 30,2022)the application of the intelligent sorting system were compared.Results After the application of the system,the average daily sorting volume(2 203 bags)was comparable to that before application(2 175 bags),the average daily sorting time(5 402.1 s)redued by 43.58%compared to that before(9 574.5 s),the average sorting time for bagged finished infusion products(2.45 s)reduced by 44.32%compared to that before application(4.40 s).After the application of intelligent sorting system,the incidences of batch errors(0),department errors(0.002 0 ‰),liquid spills(0.001 5 ‰),counting errors(0.001 0 ‰)and total incidence of work errors(0.004 5‰)were significantly lower than those before the application of the intelligent sorting system(0.025 0‰,0.012 3‰,0.010 2‰,0.008 7‰,0.056 2‰,χ²=47.644,13.139,11.337,10.497,87.049,P<0.05),with a decrease greater than 80%.After the application of the intelligent sorting system,the workflow of sorting one batch reduced from 10 steps to 6 steps.Conclusion Intelligent sorting systems can improve PIVAS work efficiency,simplify sorting workflows,and reduce work errors.关键词
