Abstract
Objective To establish a quality standard for the Mongolian medicine Gossampinus malabarica petals.Methods The morphological and microscopic identification was performed on the medicinal materials.The medicinal materials were identified qualitatively by the thin-layer chromatography(TLC)method.The moisture,ash,acid-insoluble ash and extract contents of medicinal materials were detected.The protocatechuic acid in medicinal materials was analyzed quantitatively by the high-performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)method.Results The characteristics and microscopic features of the medicinal materials were obvious,the TLC spots were clear,and the resolution was good.The moisture,ash and acid-insoluble ash contents were in the range of 6.82%to 8.64%,6.03%to 7.61%,0.30%to 0.38%respectively;the linear range of protocatechuic acid was 0.119 92 to 1.798 8 µg(r=1.000 0,n=6);the RSDs of precision,stability and repeatability tests were all lower than 2.1%;the average recovery rate was 100.93%with an RSD of 1.42%(n=6).Conclusion The established methods for morphological and microscopic identification,TLC identification,and content determination of Gossampinus malabarica petals are accurate,and reliable,which can provide a reference for the establishment of their quality standards.关键词
