Abstract
Objective:To analyze the efficacy of magnetic particle chemiluminescence method and colloidal gold method in screening for human immunodeficiency virus(HIV)infection, and the Western blotting(WB)as a reference.Method:A total of 400 cases were selected for HIV joint screening at the Second People's Hospital of Guiyang from July 3,2023 to October 31,2024.All cases were detected by magnetic particle chemiluminescence method and colloidal gold method in our hospital, and WB was detected by Guizhou Provincial Center for Clinical Laboratory.Taking WB detection results as the gold standard, the results of magnetic particle chemiluminescence method and colloidal gold method and their consistency with WB detection were analyzed, and the efficacy of magnetic particle chemiluminescence method and colloidal gold method in screening HIV infection was compared.Result:The WB detection results showed that 269 cases were HIV infected and 131 cases were not HIV infected. The Kappa value of magnetic particle chemiluminescence method detection and WB detection was 0.927,and the consistency was good. The Kappa value of colloidal gold method detection and WB detection was 0.875,and the consistency was good. The sensitivity, accuracy and negative predictive value of magnetic particle chemiluminescence method in the diagnosis of HIV infection were higher than those of colloidal gold method, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in specificity and positive predictive value in the diagnosis of HIV infection between the two methods(P>0.05).Conclusion:The magnetic particle chemiluminescence method screening for HIV infection has high consistency with WB,and the diagnostic sensitivity and accuracy are better than those of colloidal gold method.关键词
