Abstract

Objective To understand the clinical characteristics of detecting latent infection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis by interferon gamma release assay(IGRA)of patients in Chuiyangliu Hospital of Beijing City.Methods The IGRA test results of 8736 patients in Chuiyangliu Hospital of Beijing City from January 2018 to December 2022 were collected,and the potential infection status of patients was analyzed.Results The total positive rate of IGRA in visiting patients was 17.26%(1508/8736),and the difference was statistically significant from 2018 to 2022(χ2=13.706,P=0.008).The total positive rate of IGRA of male group was higher than the female group,with statistically significant difference(χ2=5.168,P=0.012).The positive rates of IGRA of the 4 age groups were compared,with statistically significant difference(χ2=6.951,P=0.001).The older the age group,the lower the positive rate.Conclusion The latent infection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in patients admitted to Chuiyangliu Hospital of Beijing City is relatively high,which tends to increase year by year,suggesting that personnel monitoring should be strengthened to improve the early diagnosis rate of latent infection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
